Why we know this works!

We love this stand magnifier because as occupational therapy practitioners (OTPs) we often hear that reading through a magnifier feels like looking through a keyhole. Why do most magnifiers show only a word or two at a time? Because the stronger a lens gets, the smaller it usually has to be. The Visolux+ answers that at 3x with a 4 by 3 inch lens, one of the largest available at this strength, lit by built in LEDs and distortion free, so you see whole phrases at once. Just push the button and set it on your book, photos, or stamps; no steady hand required. It is especially good for readers with macular degeneration, or tremor and weak grip, who do most of their reading at home. It is fixed at 3x, so if print still is not clear at that strength, move up to the Visolux Digital with zoom to 22x.
