Q: How does the Battery-Powered Patient Lift work?

A battery-powered actuator raises and lowers the lift's boom at the press of a button on the handheld control. A six-point spreader bar cradle attaches to the included sling so a caregiver can safely lift and move someone who cannot bear weight, without manual pumping.

Q: Who is this lift designed for?

This is a full-body dependent lift for people who can't stand or bear weight during a transfer, for example between bed, wheelchair, chair, or commode. If someone can stand briefly but can't walk, a stand-assist transport lift is usually a better, lower-cost fit.

Q: How do I charge the battery, and how long does it last?

The lift charges from any standard AC outlet and doesn't need the battery removed to charge. It won't operate while plugged in, so charge it between uses. An audible alarm sounds when battery power drops below 50%, giving you time to recharge before it's needed again.
