Why we know this works!

We love this chair because it offers a convenient place to keep your phone. It’s also a chair that can fit people over 6’0” and has a roomier feel. Its higher weight capacity of 450 pounds also makes it accessible for most. Plus it’s easy to wipe clean. Some therapists don't like to recommend lift chairs because it often happens that people start using the lift feature and don't use their muscles to get out of the chair. And eventually they can no longer get up from regular chairs. We like to think about it a little differently. It's great to have the option if you need it, but that doesn't mean you have to use it. So get a lift chair only if getting out of the chair is already really hard, or there's been a time where someone's gotten stuck. And lift it only as much as needed to help get out of the seat.
