The UpBed Independence provides a sense of relief, confidence, and independence by making getting in and out of bed the easiest part of your day. Get in and out of bed with our 90° rotating bed that can turn in either direction, ensuring a perfect fit in any bedroom configuration.

Upbed Independence brings technology to the bedroom with premium
features included:

» USB Power Outlets: The UpBed Independence is equipped with two USB power outlets, one on either side of the base of the bed to easily charge the devices that have become so essential in our daily lives.

» Automatic Underbed LED Lighting: The bed is powered with motion sensors that will detect when you are about to exit the bed and will automatically illuminate an LED safety light, providing safety & guidance in the middle of the night.

Shipping: Journey Beds require 2-3 weeks for shipping. But shipping includes setup of the bed in the place you’d like it to go. However, it does not include removal or moving of any current bed or furniture.

Why we know this works!

We love this because if sleeping in the recliner is your default option, this makes that much more comfortable and better for the body. You can sleep sitting up if needed but you can also lay it down flat, which allows for easier transfers, rolling, and pressure relief. Plus you can use it to help with getting up to standing. So ideally having this bed would actually facilitate more independence with mobility both in the bed and with walking, because it makes moving easier! It also comes with some extra features like USB outlets and under bed lighting to help with fall prevention when getting up to the bathroom at night.
