This commode with drop arm is the best choice for safe lateral transfers to and from the commode. The easy-release drop arm is great for using a slide board to transfer from the bed to the commode or from a wheelchair to the commode. Once the user is safely positioned, the armrest can be locked into place to provide comfort and balance while sitting on the commode. There is a removable pail that can be taken out for convenient cleaning. The pail can also be removed to place this commode with drop arm over a toilet seat for someone who is able to walk to the bathroom but may have difficulties getting up from a low toilet seat.
