Why we know this works!
Why we know this works!
The hinged sock aid is great for those who have difficulties putting on socks due to limited lower body mobility. This sock aid is unique in that it has a hinge that folds and locks in place with a tension spring which makes putting socks on the sock aid easier. Once the sock is placed, the tension spring can be released which will open the sock to a larger size. Simply fold the sock aid, lock in place with tension spring, place the sock on the over the sock aid, release tension spring, hold the straps with both hands, drop the sock aid to the ground, place foot in sock, pull on the straps until the stocking is all the way on foot. This is designed for non slip socks, regular socks, diabetic socks, and light compression socks with mild to moderate compression.
