Why we know this works!

We love this because it not only looks beautiful but it lays out to 180 degrees so it’s truly a lay flat chair. That’s important because it helps people with swelling in thier legs have a better chance to get thier feet above the level of their heart. It’s also a chair that can fit most people under 6’0” and has a roomier feel. Its higher weight capacity of 350 pounds also makes it accessible for most. Plus it’s easy to wipe clean. Some therapists don't like to recommend lift chairs because it often happens that people start using the lift feature and don't use their muscles to get out of the chair. And eventually they can no longer get up from regular chairs. We like to think about it a little differently. It's great to have the option if you need it, but that doesn't mean you have to use it. So get a lift chair only if getting out of the chair is already really hard, or there's been a time where someone's gotten stuck. And lift it only as much as needed to help get out of the seat.
