Why we know this works!
Why we know this works!
A bariatric sliding tub transfer bench is a perfect solution for someone who is not able to scoot while seated and is over 300 pounds. Simply sit down, strap seat belt, bring legs over the edge of the tub, and slide over into the tub. The bench has a seat safety lock so sliding doesn’t happen while bathing. A sliding tub transfer bench is great for those who have limited mobility or trunk balance where scooting on a tub transfer bench would be too challenging. Using a sliding tub transfer bench is a great way to promote safety and maximum independence during bathing.
