SAMIE Navigator
SAMIE Navigator
The caregiver's AI companion, for every stage of life.
One trustworthy place that pulls a loved one's real health information together, tells you what to do next, and quietly gets the busywork done, with you in control.
Occupational-therapy informed
Mom's medication changed today
Her list is updated and the family circle has the plain-language summary.
Marcus's OT visit overlaps the pediatrician
I can contact the OT and ask to reschedule the appointment.
Dad's refill runs out in 3 days
Want me to call the pharmacy? You approve before anything is sent.
The problem
Caregiving breaks down at coordination.
Family caregivers are not short on love. They are short on a system that puts the pieces in one place and helps them do the next step.
spend 11+ hours a week on care coordination alone, before any hands-on care
describe their care as fragmented, scattered across portals and providers
want a service that handles the scheduling, insurance calls, and refills for them

How it works
See it. Approve it. Done.
Everything in one place
Through secure health-record interoperability, SAMIE Navigator pulls medications, immunizations, and visit history from multiple health systems into a single, plain-language view. Because it sees the whole record at once, it can also catch the conflicting medication lists that slip between providers.
Approve the next step
SAMIE Navigator reads that record through an occupational therapist's clinical lens and proposes a clear next step, what a medication is for, what appointment is coming, what home change or equipment would reduce risk, for you to approve.
Done for you
Once you approve, the voice-agent layer handles the time-consuming tasks for you, a refill request, an insurance pre-authorization call, an appeal when something is wrongly denied, and shows you exactly what it did.
Across the lifespan
The same companion, whoever you care for.
Because occupational therapy spans the entire lifespan, SAMIE Navigator supports caregivers of children with developmental and sensory needs, adults recovering from injury or illness, and older adults aging in place.
Older adult
After a cardiology visit
Mrs. Lopez's doctor changed a medication. SAMIE Navigator updates her med list, shares a plain-language summary with the whole family, catches that the new drug compounds a dehydration risk hiding in her existing meds, and offers one small, doable step, all before her daughter has taken off her coat.
Child, developmental and sensory
A hard afternoon with a 7-year-old
Marcus is autistic, and a new medication seems to be making evenings harder. SAMIE Navigator already has the visit summary and med change in one place, flags that the medication can disrupt sleep, and, drawing on pediatric and sensory behavior support, offers Dana an evidence-based strategy to try tonight, so she does not have to wait (and remember) to ask at next week's OT visit.
Adult child caring for a parent
Refills, without the phone tag
SAMIE Navigator notices Mr. Carter's prescription is about to run out and alerts his son. With approval, it calls the pharmacy, and when it learns the script has expired, it does not guess, it flags that a new order is needed and drafts the message to the doctor to review and send. Three phone calls and a week of phone tag become one notification and one tap.
What makes it different
Organizing information is the starting line. Action is the difference.
Occupational-therapy informed
Most caregiver apps store and organize. SAMIE Navigator interprets a real health record through a clinical lens, backed by 30+ years of combined OT experience and a curated library of roughly 13,000 peer-reviewed passages from the OT literature. Every recommendation shows you what it is based on.
The record meets the home
The only approach we know of that connects health information to the physical home where care actually happens, turning an insight into a concrete safety change or piece of equipment.
Real, vetted humans
When human help is needed, SAMIE hands off to a real, vetted occupational therapist from a nationwide network, not a dead end.
Done-for-you, in your control
SAMIE completes tasks, but never takes a high-stakes action on its own. You review, you approve, and you can see exactly what it did and why.
When coverage is denied
A denial is not the end of the conversation.
When a needed item or service is wrongly denied, SAMIE Navigator reads the denial letter, checks it against the coverage rules, assembles the occupational-therapy evidence for medical necessity, and drafts the appeal for you to review and send. The barrier is almost never whether a denial can be reversed. It is whether a family has the stamina, the records, and the process knowledge to fight it.
Document preparation and clinical justification, not legal advice.

Built on trust
Private by design. Human in the loop. Made to be affordable.
Your data stays yours
We never sell your family's data or share it with data brokers, never use health information for advertising, and never use identifiable data to train AI models. You can export or delete everything at any time, including when caregiving ends.
You are always in charge
No consequential action happens without your approval, and a clear record shows what was done and why. Recommendations come from clinical criteria alone. No brand pays for placement.
Usable by everyone
Plain language, a typeface built for low-vision readers, and WCAG 2.1 AA as the target. It runs on older phones and modest connections, you can listen and approve by voice instead of navigating a screen, and Spanish is on the near-term roadmap.
Within reach of real families
Cost is the top barrier caregivers report. Affordability is a design requirement, with a free tier for the essentials and a subsidized-access path so no one is shut out.
Who is building it
Proven pieces, brought together.
