Meet Dr. Khadijah
I am a specialist in geriatric OT practice, focusing on cognitive-based dementia care, caregiver education, and aging in place practices. I am an active member of my state association, ArizOTA, where I am serving in my second term as Vice President. I have academia experience instructing OT students in gerontology, phys rehab, advocacy, mental health, and fieldwork-based courses at the OTA, OTD, and PPOTD levels. I provide mentorship and virtual support through my private practice to students preparing for and in the midst of fieldwork and capstone experiences.
I also co-own and run a construction recruiting agency with my husband.
