About
Meet Dr. Kaitlyn
What drew me to occupational therapy was how deeply human the profession felt. I’ve always believed that health is shaped by far more than what happens inside a treatment room. It is influenced by our daily routines, relationships, environments, and the activities that give our lives meaning.
I grew up in a small rural farming community in eastern Washington, where I developed an early appreciation for how community and access to resources influence health and wellbeing. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Whitworth University before completing my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Creighton University.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a variety of healthcare settings, including acute care, intensive care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and integrative outpatient practices. These experiences have shaped my perspective on recovery, prevention, resilience, and the many factors that contribute to long-term quality of life.
My clinical interests include movement, fascia-informed modalities, pain management, healthy aging, telehealth and helping people better understand their bodies through practical, evidence-based education. I believe that when people understand how their bodies work, they feel more confident making decisions that support their health over time.
I also founded Attune, an integrative occupational therapy practice built on the belief that people deserve support beyond recovering from illness or injury. My goal is to help individuals feel informed, capable, and supported as they navigate everyday life, whether they’re recovering, adapting to change, or simply looking to stay active and healthy for years to come.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, learning new things, being creative, and staying connected with the people and community that matter most to me!
