My professional career started as a Physical Therapist Assistant where I practiced in multiple settings including NICU, Acute Care, and Sub Acute care for 18 years. I transitioned to a degree in Occupational Therapy where I've practiced in Sub Acute care, Acute care and supported living care for over 10 years. I am the Inventor of "The Original AFO Assist" which is an innovative activity of daily living product which facilitates independent donning of an ankle foot orthosis (AFO) and shoe. I am the owner of Home Heart Beats, LLC, a company that consults with clients to modify, adapt and re-design their living environment so they can safely live and age in place.
