Is in person better than virtual assessment?
Not necessarily! As long as someone is there who can walk around the home with the phone to show me what’s going on, we can do an excellent assessment virtually. It’s also faster to get on my calendar with virtual so we can solve problems quickly.
Can I book a home assessment and pay with insurance?
In some situations yes! Please book a free 15 min discovery call and we can talk through the details.
When do I need an OT visit instead of just chatting with SAMIE?
SAMIE is great! Trained on OT knowledge and thought process, for most situations that are straightforward it will work great! But if you prefer to have a person talk you through what to do, or there are inter personal relationships and feelings tied into these potential changes or the situation is complex having an OT do the assessment can provide a ton of value to smoothing out the challenges
