Why we know this works!
Getting out and about around town to do things like see grandkids baseball games and go shopping are really important for quality of life.
But health insurance pays for the needed mobility device for in the home usage. If the primary reason for getting a device is for community activity, it won't cover it. Or if a powered wheelchair is the best device then using insurance to cover that, more expensive option is best and then purchasing a scooter can be more cost effective than modifying the car to be able to get the power chair in.
Getting a 4 wheeled scooter is great because it can be kept in the car or garage and broken into 4 piece so it easily fits in the trunk.
